"I was involved in the first USA Refining Issues Forum and have continued to participate in it to this day because I find them very valuable. The ability for the leader of each company's refinery EHS organization to have a discussion about the various EHS issues, problems, practices and performance topics that we want to talk about is extremely valuable. The agenda is our agenda and not driven by an industry organization. I also participate regularly in E.Vironment's Chemical Global Issues Forum for the same reasons."

Shell Oil Products USA
We have extensive experience in EHS Management System (MS) development, implementation, auditing, assessment and optimization for both individual sites and for large, multi-national companies including BP, ChevronTexaco, ConocoPhillips, Dow Chemical, Flint Hills Resources, Marathon Oil and Shell Oil. E.Vironment also has significant experience conducting reviews of MS programs. We have developed a methodology for these assessments which combines more traditional techniques (review of documents, interviews, observation of audits, etc.) with an objective rating tool for comparing actual performance against industry standards (such as ISO 14001 and the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care® initiative), corporate standards or objectives and performance of peer organizations.
E.Vironment has facilitated the development of EHS-MS, conducted EHS-MS audits and/or led third-party EHS-MS reviews for:
In January, 2004 Marathon Oil outsourced its environmental management system audit program to E.Vironment (this is a continuing assignment). This includes providing the Team Leader on all global EMS audits, providing at least one additional auditor on most audits, conducting auditor training for Marathon's guest auditors, and advising on overall audit program management.
